School approach to learning starts with a belief that preparing children for the 21st
century is the shared responsibility of the entire community. We believe every child's opportunity to learn and to become a productive and fulfilled citizen must be expanded using all school, community, metro, state and national resources at our command. By involving people, other than the students, we make a real working community reinforcing our philosophy. |

Students should leave school as
creative, open-minded, productive, supportive and informed citizens eager to contribute
to society. It is our intent to incorporate as many civic-oriented themes as possible into the various subject areas; thus creating a learning environment alive with interdisciplinary units which will actively engage our students and our community in the learning process. This will be accomplished by using proven and varied instructional models designed to enhance the maximum learning potential of every student. |
